In the case of three men arrested in Farmington, Maine, a home invasion spree that happened on Halloween has already added up to seven charges.
Kevin Crandall (27), Marcus Thompson (26) and Michael Kidd (20) are being chared with robbery, kidnapping, criminal threatening, two counts of burglary, and two counts of theft of firearms. Crandall and Kidd also were charged with violations of conditions of release for past charges. Kidd was out on bail for drug trafficking and Thompson had been charged with disorderly conduct. Crandall also had been previously charged.
The three entered a home on Monday at about 6:45 p.m., held a couple at gunpoint and displayed knives. They took the husband to an ATM machine while the third stayed home with the wife.
As is common in many home invasions, the three targeted cash, jewelry, and prescription medications.
Later, police responded to another burglary believed to have occurred between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. from which a .357 Ruger handgun, an iPod, a PS3, an Xbox 360, a camera, and cash were missing. Additional charges are expected in that case.
